Schnackel Engineers was selected as the MEP Engineering consultant for the Fairfield Inn and Suites Omaha Legacy location, a three story, 90 room, 46,000 square foot hotel located in the Southwest corridor of suburban Omaha. As a part of Marriott’s national franchise program, the prototype design had to meet with Omaha’s codes, which our local team easily handled. Schnackel’s experience with national rollout, helped by our National Code Database, makes it easier for our teams to pre-check local any AHJ requirements prior to the start of design. Our ability to apply this knowledge greatly reduces code comments and speeds up permitting. Our single point of contact from our PM level personnel is also a great help in communicating any owner comments or concerns to our teams.
