In 2008, Schnackel Engineers was selected as the design team for Baxter Auto Body, a ground-up, state of the art auto collision center in thriving west Omaha. The over 38,00 square feet of building houses 2,500 square feet of administrative offices and customer comfort amenities, two estimate bays, two prep bays, three finish paint booths, 30 production stalls and plenty of room for storage. The production facilities needs required radiant heat and a high output ventilation and exhaust needs, while the office/client area required more standard RTU driven air. Schnackel Engineers’ experience in the automotive sales arena coupled with our attention to the aesthetics of the built environment helped to deliver this client-centric facility.
