University of Hawaii at West O’ahu Academy for Creative Media officially breaks ground!

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII – WEST OAHU NEW CREATIVE MEDIA FACILITY

Schnackel Engineers was selected to participate as the MEP Design consultant in the design-build pursuit for the new Creative Media Facility Project that will be constructed at the University of Hawaii West Oahu campus in Kapolei.

 

The new building, which is pursuing LEED Certification, will comprise of 42,000 square feet of production space and will also feature a café, 100-seat screening room, three computer labs, and sound mixing studios.

 

The project officially broke ground in January of 2019 and is slated to be completed in June 2020.
