As part of the Greener, Greater Buildings Plan, Local Law 87<\/a> (LL87) requires buildings larger than 50,000 gross square feet to periodically undergo energy audits and retro-commissioning measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This law’s intention is to inform building owners about their energy usage through energy audits and retro-commissioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An energy audit is an inspection and analysis of how much energy is being used in a facility.
