Projects included the Ala Moana Center, which won the Gold Award for Renovations\/Expansions and Liberty Center that won the Silver Commendation Award for New Development.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2016:<\/strong> Schnackel Engineers is proud to be part of the design team that designed Starbucks at Highland &amp; Willoughby in Los Angeles, which received a 2016 Sustainable Innovation Award at USGBC-LA\u2019s 12th Annual Green Gala on November 10th. Congratulations to our Energy Team and Teams C and D! Nicely done!<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2008:<\/strong> The US Green Building Council awards Yum! Brands&#8217; E3 Project, a Taco Bell and KFC combination located in Northampton, MA, LEED Gold Certification. Their first, now sets precedence for future Yum! Green Initiatives all over the world. With Chipman Adams Architects, Inc.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2008<\/strong>: Schnackel Engineers was an integral part of the design team with Callison Architecture on the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center Remodel project in Honolulu, HI. The shopping center and multi-use facility was recently awarded the Retail Traffic Superior Achievement in Design and Imaging (SADI) Award which recognizes outstanding achievement in creating beautiful and successful retail environments, and putting the magic back in shopping.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>2008<\/strong>: The US Green Building Council awards LEED Silver Certification, LEED Retail Volume Prototype for Commercial Interiors to Wachovia Bank.
