Commissioning Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commissioning Agent to lead our Cx projects and perform field surveys and construction observations related to the MEP/FP disciplines.  This is an opportunity to lead and grow a Cx department for the most progressive engineering firm in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering pre-design existing conditions of MEP/FP systems.
  • Perform MEP/FP related Construction Observations with punch lists
  • Prepare commissioning documentation including OPR, BOD, commissioning plan, commissioning specifications and responsibility matrix, review building designs for energy efficiency and LEED requirements and implement building commissioning programs
  • Provide full LEED Commissioning services, fundamental and enhanced
  • Provide non-LEED Building Commissioning services
  • Perform on-site functional testing and data analysis to ensure installed equipment meets design intent, maintenance requirements, and client’s expectations
  • Work with architects, consultants, contractors, field representatives and others to ensure smooth implementation of Commissioning Plan
  • Work with our Sustainability Department and Engineering staff to provide a fully integrated service platform

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commissioning commercial buildings or 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and/or maintaining HVAC Systems and DDC/BAS Control Systems.
  • Competency with MS Office products.
  • AutoCAD, REVIT competency preferred
  • University degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering, building systems sciences, or related field preferable or equivalent experience
  • Certified Commissioning Agent credentials required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will possess knowledge in the MEP/FP Engineering industry
  • Familiarity with the latest National CAD/BIM standards
  • Must be driven to be exceptional
