What we are looking for:

Schnackel Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# and SQL, with experience using Visual Studio and Version Control Tools. This role involves both maintaining legacy applications and developing new applications, requiring a keen eye for UI/UX design. The candidate is also expected to be a self-starter requiring minimal to no supervision and would also be highly detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance legacy applications written in C#.
  • Design and develop new applications to meet business requirements.
  • Utilize SQL for database management and operations.
  • Perform UI/UX work to ensure applications are user-friendly and meet modern design standards.
  • Work within an Agile Philosophy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in application development, specifically with C# and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio and experience with Mercurial or similar version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and design.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
